Lesson Terms and Conditions

All lessons must be paid for no later than the payment date on the invoice issued to you.

if payment is not paid by the payment date on the invoice, the pupil will then unfortunately be removed from the timetable immediately unless contact has been made by the person paying for the lesson.

The agreed lesson day and time on the invoice is exclusive to the specific pupil, and will not change unless arranged by Sean and the pupil themselves.

Due to this, if the pupil can not attend their lesson for any reason the lesson will still be charged, if 24 hours notice is given, Sean will try to give the pupil some additional lesson time within that term.

Good behaviour and respect is required in the lessons with Sean from each pupil, if a pupil chooses to misbehave in a lesson, Sean will stop the lessons and ask the pupil to behave, if the pupil then continues to misbehave, Sean will then choose to end that lesson, unfortunately the pupil will loose whatever remaining time is left in that specific lesson. Sean will not tolerate bad behaviour, rudeness or disrespect in his lessons. If pupils are having paired or group lessons, Sean will not tolerate any form of bullying between pupils in his lessons.

If pupils are having their lessons with Sean in a school, It’s the responsibility of the pupil to make their own way to their music lessons, and to make sure they turn up on time. If you feel the pupil will struggle with this, I do recommend asking their school if they can arrange to have the pupil sent to their lesson on time each week. If for any reason Sean is unable to attend a lesson, the school will be informed, an email will be sent to yourself and the lesson will be made up within that term.

If pupils are having their lessons with Sean Online, It's important for the pupil to be ready on time for their lessons at their allocated time and day slot with their musical instrument in hand. Sean will then send a video call through at the start of the lesson, if the pupil is running late, this is absolutely fine, the lesson can still take place, however Sean will not be able to offer additional time within the lesson, if Sean is running late, the pupil will receive their full allocated lesson time. If for any reason Sean is unable to attend an online lesson, an email will be sent to yourself and the lesson will be made up within that term.

If a pupils is part of a pair or group and one or more members of that party doesn't attend the lesson, Sean will reduce the duration of the lesson and will offer an adequate lesson length to what you have paid.
